Save the date for the “Bells of Iowa State” Gala Anniversary Concert, held on Sunday, October 27, 2019. The special event will take place at 3:00 p.m. at Stephens Auditorium in Ames.
The historic concert will celebrate the 120th anniversary of the Stanton Memorial Carillon; the 25th anniversary of the university carillonneur, Tin-Shi Tam; the 50th anniversary of Stephens Auditorium and The Ames International Orchestra Festival Association (AIOFA) and the 65th anniversary of the Stanton Memorial Carillon Foundation.
The concert will unveil the new Campanile-Carillon Model, designed by ISU classes, and feature the Stanton Carillon, Iowa State Singers and alumni, ISU Symphony Orchestra and ISU Wind Ensemble.
Proceeds from the celebration will be dedicated to promoting the art of the carillon for future generations, through the ongoing, ground-breaking work of Tam and her students, with support from the Stanton Memorial Carillon Foundation.
Tickets will be available through the Iowa State Center. General admission seating tickets will be $10 for students and $25 for adults. Reserved seating tickets will be $50. VIP seating and dinner tickets will be available for $120.
